The St. Marys Blues Guild welcomes Shane Dwight to St. Marys and K.C. Geiger Park to the 2010 Riverside Bluesfest on Labor Day weekend.

Shane Dwight calls himself an "American Roots Music Artist." But his is not your traditionally-known style of roots music. It's more like a musical black hole supernova: blues, jazz, country, rhythm-and-blues, rock-and-roll -- American music -- all collapses into one intense mass and is radiated out as Shane Dwight's music.

Born to entertain like LeBron James was born to play basketball, Shane Dwight learned his chops in the ethnically- and musically-diverse east side of San Jose, California. When his band won the 2002 Monterey Blues Festival Battle of the Bands, it attracted regional and then national attention. They have been touring and recording constantly ever since.

Now headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, Shane Dwight has been killing 200 or more audiences a year with original songs that have such great hooks they seem like old favorites the first time people hear them.
