The St. Marys Blues Guild is excited to announce plans for the 2008 Riverside Bluesfest Blues Challenge.

The Blues Challenge will be a series of blues-band playoffs to take place through the winter and spring months of early 2008, with the Finals to take place at the St. Marys Eagles Lodge on May 18. The band winning the Finals will be the opening artists for the 2008 Riverside Bluesfest on August 30, 2008.

Preliminary dates and venues will be announced. Band entry applications will be taken through Jan. 1, 2008.

The host K.C. Geiger Park Committee and the organizing St. Marys Blues Guild are pleased to welcome the St. Marys Eagles as a Platinum Sponsor of the 2008 Riverside Bluesfest.
