ST. MARYS - Mothers can take their sons out Sunday evening to a dance sponsored by a local elementary school. The West Elementary Parent-Teacher Organization is sponsoring its second mother and son dance, which will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Romer's Catering in Celina. West PTO sponsored a father and daughter dance last month.

ST. MARYS - Officials associated with a new construction project in downtown St. Marys say the building is part of their revitalization and expansion efforts. Construction on the new 3,700 square foot First Financial Bank building is slated to begin in a few months. The bank, which will be located at 130 E. Spring St., will be one of the first projects in the redevelopment of the Miami and Erie Canal corridor in downtown St. Marys .
