ST. MARYS -- The Rider Rooters have set Friday, June 26, 2009 as the date of their first annual Stag Night fund rasier.
Be downstairs at the St. Marys Eagles Aerie 767 Lodge at 7:00 pm to hear speakers Mike Elston, Mark Hollars and Dan Hegemier. Elston is a 1993 Memorial High School grad and is currently the University of Cincinnati Associate Head Coach. Hollars and Hegemier are the new MHS head football and basketball coaches, respectively.
Some unique collectibles will be up for auction, including items autographed by Larry Bird, Richard Petty, Galen Cisco and others. Reds ticket packages, Indiana Pacers tickets, a Lake Erie fishing trip, a basketball signed by the top five scorers in St. Marys basketball history, an autographed Buckeyes helmet, historical Rider photos and more will go under the gavel.
Tickets to the event are $45 each and include a meal and drinks for the evening. Tickets are available at The Buzz and Rentz barber shops, Douglas Wine Optometrist office and Albert Sporting Goods. Call Jason Clark at 419-305-2055 to order tickets by phone.
Proceeds from the evening benefit all Roughrider athletic sports teams. Sorry, ladies, this is a stag evening.
