ST. MARYS -- Bring your dog to the Veyance Company shelterhouse accessed from State Route 66 just south of St. Marys, from 1-4 pm on Sunday, June 13, 2010. The Auglaize County Dog Warden / Dog House and dogs-R-us Styling Boutique are collaborating to host the K-9 Jubilee to promote canine awareness.
The afternoon will feature a police K-9 Unit demonstration at 1:15, contests, pictures, dog adoptions, dog tag sales, obedience instruction and toenail trims.
There wil be treats and toys for the pets, a raffle and prizes and concessions like pop & water and chips & candy will be on hand for the owners. Spay/neuter vouchers will be available to families with dogs.
Cash donations, collars and leashes are always needed and appreciated by both organizations sponsoring the K-9 Jubilee.
